Terms of Service

Pr0nTax is a behavior-change coaching service. It helps adults who want to stop using pornography by combining nightly check-ins with an AI coach and a financial commitment device you set yourself. Pr0nTax does not host, display, sell, or link to adult content of any kind.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. By using Pr0nTax you confirm both.

2. What you are buying

A 30-day challenge with nightly AI coaching, a private dashboard, and progress sharing you control. The entry fee is $9 and is non-refundable once the challenge begins. Entry is free when you finished your previous challenge clean or when a friend's pledge covers you.

3. The commitment device

When you join, you choose a slip cost between $1 and $1,000. You authorize Pr0nTax to charge your saved payment method:

Penalties accrue on a tab and are charged in batches: when the tab reaches $20, weekly, or at the end of the challenge. The most you can be charged in penalties in one challenge is 30 times your missed-check-in cost. Penalties are revenue to Pr0nTax.

What counts as a slip depends on the line you choose at signup and can change in settings. Standard: Porn, obviously. Also sexting, dirty texting, erotic chat, cam sites, AI girlfriend/boyfriend apps, erotica, and anything else you use the way you use porn. Masturbation and fantasy on their own are your business and never count. Rule of thumb: if you'd hesitate to log it, it counts. Strict: Everything on the standard line (porn, sexting, erotic chat, cam sites, AI companion apps, erotica) plus masturbation. Fantasy alone doesn't count; acting on it does. Check-ins are self-reported. You agree to answer honestly. Pr0nTax does not monitor your devices or browsing and has no way to verify your answers. Nothing here is a wager: there is no prize pool, no element of chance, and no participant is paid from another participant's penalties.

4. Nominations and pledges

Anyone may nominate a person by first name and share an invite link. Nothing is recorded about the nominee until they accept. On accepting, the nominee agrees that the nominator and any backers may see, for that challenge only, whether each nightly check-in was clean, slipped, or missed. Conversations are never shared.

A backer may pledge an amount of $30 or more on a nominee. The backer's card is saved and is charged only if the nominee completes the challenge with zero slips and zero missed check-ins. 90% of a charged pledge is paid to the member through Stripe Connect once they connect a bank account; 10% is Pr0nTax's platform fee. If the member does not finish clean, declines the invitation, or does not start a challenge within 45 days, the pledge is released and nothing is charged. Pledges are gifts contingent on the member's own conduct; they are not bets between backers and are not paid from any other participant's money.

5. Conduct

Nominations and pledge messages must be kind. We remove invitations that read as harassment and may ban the sender. Nominees can decline any invitation, and declining leaves no record.

6. Not medical care

The coach is an automated assistant. It is not a therapist, doctor, or crisis service and does not provide medical advice. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services; in the US, call or text 988.

7. Cancellation

You may stop at any time by messaging the coach. Penalties already incurred remain due. Stopping before the challenge starts entitles you to a refund of the entry fee; see Billing & refunds.

8. Liability

Pr0nTax is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
